Cable Material

The cable masterbatch is an essential material for the manufacturing of ordinary voltage power transmission wire and shielded cable. This range of processes encompasses mixing inorganic and organic fillers with flame-retardant materials into base polymers, all the way to silane cross linking using DCP chemicals.

Recent years have seen an increase in awareness of environmental issues, which has led to an increased focus on low-smoke halogen free cable materials. Despite this trend, the industry's favourite material also faced some challenges during production:

01. There are many kinds of materials required for the process, the formula is complex and changeable, and the precision is not easy to control.

02. The ingredients such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide in the formula are viscous and easy to bridge in the silo.

03. Most of the flame retardants are powder, which is easy to cause dust pollution.

How can we achieve stable and accurate metering in this environment full of dust, complex formulations, and material properties that vary widely?

The main raw material is a mixture of 4 - 6 kinds of granular materials, which is precisely mixed by a set of Sonner UM small batch and multi-batch compounding machines.


Halogen-free flame retardant filler:

In the case of high filling, there are three loss-in-weight scales, one for the main feed port and one for the side feed ports.


lubricating:

A liquid loss-in-weight scale, mounted on the side feed port.


Auxiliary:

The Premixed after the premixing process is pushed to the top of the Premixed loss-in-weight scale, and fed to the main feeding port by the Premixed loss-in-weight scale.
